Emigrants
Kép leírása
In January it was almost impossible to find job, but I managed to get one in a bakery. I spent 3 weeks unloading bagels from trays. It was a very hard physical job and the permanent workers were rude.

As thousands of hungarians we decided to move to London in november,2013.As we arrived, we had to face with the problems immediately to get a proper room and job.In London, one of the world's largest cities, sharing a flat is completely normal. Nine of us lived in a five-room house which is absolutely illegal, but the Hungarians trying to make ends meet without a proper work reference have no other options apart from finding a place in one of the "Hungarian houses".After 5 years of freelancing, we had to learn it again how does a 12 hour shift feels like. Most of our jobs came from agencies for minimum wage. For 3 months we were really suffered to get on well here, till my girlfriend finaly found a job with her poor english.Till I had been cheated by a leaflet company, spend 3000 pounds savings what we brought from Hungary and got close to give up many times.Later we normailsed, but never loved in London. After 7 mounth highs and lows we decided to move back to Hungary. This 10 image serie is a part of a photostory about our living in London, showing the life is not easy in the UK, like most of people think at home.
